Nuance Audio™ App

What's the Nuance Audio™ App?
The Nuance Audio™ App, which can be downloaded free of charge from the Apple App Store for iOS and the Google Play Store, is designed to specifically manage the air conduction hearing device in terms of activation, customization and control of device settings. The App should only be used in conjunction with the use of Nuance Audio™ Plus by persons aged 18 years and older.

Note: The Nuance Audio™ App is designed for smartphones only. Use on tablets is not supported and may cause display or functionality issues.
Can I use Nuance Audio™ Plus without the Nuance Audio™ App?

Yes, when you purchase your Glasses, the store associate will create an account for you to activate your Glasses. Once the Glasses are activated succesfully, they can be used without the support of the mobile App. In that case, you will need to purchase the Remote Plus to setup and control your Glasses. Glasses firmware upgrades will be available only in the stores if you are not using the mobile App.

What happens if I don't get the Nuance Audio™ App?

You would lose the following settings and functionalities if you use Nuance Audio™ Plus without its companion Nuance Audio™ App:
•    Background noise control
•    Noise tracking presentation
•    Glasses battery level presentation during use 
•    All advanced features and personalizations

Note: Personalized calibration, language selection and preset selection is possible using Remote Control Plus.

Do I need to be tech-savvy to be able to use the Nuance Audio™ App?

No. The Nuance Audio™ App is designed with a user-friendly and accessible interface that requires no technical expertise. Basic tasks, such as adjusting volumes or selecting predefined modes are designed to be straightforward.

Do I always need to have my smartphone with me while using the Nuance Audio™ Plus?

While your Nuance Audio™ Plus can be used as a standalone device, for the best experience and access to all features, it is recommended to have your mobile device with you.
